Savory Blast Cheezy Sausage Bites

I made these appetizers for a Christmas party last night. They were a hit!

What you need:

3 cups all purpose baking mix (like bisquik)
4 cups grated cheese ( I used half white cheddar and half sharp cheddar)
1 lb bulk hot sausage. (or your favorite)
1/2 cup to 3/4 cup milk.
1 1/2 TBS Zest Coast Savory Blast Seasoning Blend
2 baking sheets. Probably best to line with parchment paper for easy clean up.

 

What to do:


Preheat oven or grill to 350 to 375 degrees.
In large bowl, combine all ingredients.  I blend the flour and spices first and then add cheese and sausage.  Go ahead and use your hands, it is easiest. After a bit, add milk so that the mixture becomes one large well incorporated ball.  Make one inch balls by hand. Roll in palm of hands for best results.  Place on greased sheet or parchment paper. Cook 20 minutes or so until golden brown.

Yields 50 to 60 balls/servings.
