This is a great wing recipe to make for an alternative to hot and sweet. There is no sugar in Zest Coast Savory Blast and no chili pepper.
What you need:
10 or so whole wings
1 to 2 Tbsp Zest Coast Savory Blast Seasoning Blend
1 Tbsp Olive oil
1 gallon baggie
What to do:
Part wings into drumette and flat portions. Discard tips or freeze for stock.
Place wings into baggie with olive oil and 1 Tbsp Savory Blast
Massage in baggie to evenly coast wings. Add more seasoning if it looks sparse for the amount of wings. Set in fridge until ready to use. Up to 24 hours.
Preheat grill to around 350 to 375F, but not hotter than 425.
Cook indirect. The hotter the grill, the more indirect you need to be. Wings give off grease and can flare up. Cook until 195 to 205F and skin crispy.
In the oven: Alternatively, these wings do great in the oven. Place in pan and cook at 375F for about 30 minutes or until around 195 to 200F.
